ReadySolar can be installed almost anywhere on the roof of your house, garage, porch, shed, pergola or directly on your lawn. The only important requirement is a sunny location i.e. north/northwest facing surface to ensure maximum heat exposure.
What do I need?
With most single storey installations your current filtration pump will have adequate pressure to pump water through your ReadySolar collector, normally up to 6m high. your water flow pressure will vary depending on the power of the filtration pump and plumbing configuration etc. If you are unsure about the necessity for a booster or upgraded pump please check with your ReadySolar distributor.
How Does It Work?
Using your pool filter pump, water is pumped through the ReadySolar matting with is heated by the sun. The matting is pre-fitted to PVC manifolds that are simply clicked together. The Manifolds must be plumbed directly to the filtration plant (or separate pump). The amount of ReadySolar you will need to raise your pools water temperature efficiently will depend on the size of your pool.
